About Jason
Jason Makrinos brings more than 20 years of experience building high-performing teams and developing leaders as a college football coach. Spending over 16 seasons in Coordinator roles, he has led teams to championship-level competition, including six conference championship game appearances, four division championships, and multiple postseason runs.
Having coached alongside eight Head Coaches recognized as “Coach of the Year,” Jason has developed a deep understanding of elite leadership, accountability, and culture. His experience spans NCAA Division I, II, and III programs, where he has consistently elevated performance, developed talent, and built environments where people thrive under pressure.
Jason earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Westminster College and a Master of Science in Sport Management from Slippery Rock University. While at Westminster, he completed research examining the relationship between leadership, trust, and performance and interned with a sports psychologist – experiences that helped shape his approach to leadership and team development.
Residing in Pittsburgh, PA, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife, Jessica, and their three children.
