We use the Programming Information created by Customers to provide the Services to End Users connected to the Customers. If you are an End User, we use your Personal Data and history of access to identify you, enable you to establish feedback using comments and track your use of the Services for customers.
Validating Access to Content. For Customers, we use the Personal Data of customers tied to Programming Information and Program History to validate your right to use our Services. We use the Program History and history of access by End Users tied to their Personal Data to validate the identities of End Users and track their use to report to Customers as a part of our Services. These are essential components of our Services.
Direct Marketing. We use Customer Personal Data to communicate with you regarding the provision of the Services, but also to let you know about additional features and services we provide that may be of interest to you. Sales Prospecting and Service Delivery. Focus 3, LLC may collect information regarding your business or professional interests to facilitate selling Focus 3, LLC products and services. Focus 3 LLC is a business to business service provider and all transactions for content from the site are solely for business use. All End Users of the Focus 3, LLC blog(s) are intended to be business professionals pursuing business content and End User information may be enhanced through analytics and tracking techniques to build profiles suitable for Focus 3, LLC products and services.
How Do We Share Your Data
We will not sell, rent, or share Personal Data with third parties outside of our company without your consent, except in the following ways:
Customers. Our service involves providing a platform to present course content to Customers who may share the content with End Users and End Users from Customers may access content directly.. This involves presenting the content and ensuring that certain End Users have accessed and reviewed the content for the benefit of both the Customer and End User. As such, we share End User contact information and applicable End User Program Information access history with Customers to confirm End User attendance and review of the content when requested.
Comments. If you post a comment, it may be shared with other End Users accessing the Program Information and the Customer that posted the Program Information. Once posted, comments cannot be edited, but may be deleted by contacting the Customer that is providing the Program Information.
Charging for Services. When you enter your credit card information, we transmit your information to Stripe for processing, but Focus 3, LLC does not store any credit card data associated with any purchases processed on the Site. Focus 3, LLC utilizes Stripe’s APIs to process payments and utilizes Stripe’s Privacy Policy for more detail about how your information is collected, stored and maintained by these third party payment processors.
Accounting Services. We use Quickbooks for accounting services and processing payments for clients not using credit cards but Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions, bank deposits or checks for compensation for services. End Users who subscribe to or register for certain services with Focus 3, LLC may be recorded as a customer in Quickbooks along with transaction details including date, time, payment method and other product, service and contact information. Quickbooks does not retain any credit card information on behalf of Focus 3, LLC.
Law Enforcement and Internal Operations Personal Data may be provided where we are required to do so by law, or if we believe in good faith that it is reasonably necessary (i) to respond to claims asserted against Company or to comply with the legal process (for example, discovery requests, subpoenas or warrants); (ii) to enforce or administer our policies and agreements with users; (iii) for fraud prevention, risk assessment, investigation, customer support, product development and de-bugging purposes; or (iv) to protect the rights, property or safety of Company, its users or members of the general public. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify users about law enforcement or court ordered requests for data unless otherwise prohibited by law. Lightspeed.vt provides a platform for educational training that Focus 3, LLC licenses to deliver our Virtual Terminal service. Lightspeeed.vt collects personal information in a variety of ways when you interact with this site, including when you register or create an account, when you place an order; when you use products or services; when you enter promotions or sweepstakes; when you subscribe to a newsletter or desire to be added to our mailing lists for other products or services; when you correspond or otherwise interact with us; and when you provide feedback in any of our online surveys. Information we collect may include: your name, e-mail address, phone number, address, product preference information, billing information, demographic information provided by you (such as language, gender and age, and, if applicable, content preferences and personalization information) and personal interest information. On occasion, we may ask for additional information to enable us to provide you with access to and use of certain information, materials and services. What other kinds of information do we collect? Lightspeed.vt automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, information about which pages you visit on lightspeed.vt, and information from cookies.
Shopify
Shopify provides an e-commerce shopping site and checkout portal for Focus 3, LLC and our branded products. Shopify processes transactions using Stripe and other payment options including PayPal and Google Pay. Shopify retains customer contact information and order details including transaction data and dates and visitor site usage information. No credit card information is stored with Shopify and the checkout window is a PCI-DSS Compliant SSL encrypted checkout portal.
Do Not Track Disclosure
We support Do Not Track (“DNT”). Do Not Track is a preference you can set in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked. You can enable or disable Do Not Track by visiting the Preferences or Settings page of your web browser.
